🔒 Verify members, not their data. AltShield is built privacy-first.

✨ Here's what's new:

🔑 Account IDs are stored only as hashes. Steam, Twitch, Roblox, Battle.net, Epic Games and Google account IDs are kept as one-way hashes, not as the IDs themselves.

🌐 No raw IP or device data. If a server uses Fingerprinting or Anti-VPN, the IP and device signals are used only to create a hash and are never stored in their original form.

🧠 Profile data stays in memory. What we read from a member's profile during verification is held only while they verify.

🗑️ You control your data. /my-data sends you a private export, and /forget-me deletes your records across all servers; your Discord ID in the logs we keep is replaced by a pseudonym.

⚖️ Fair after deletion. After /forget-me, only hashes are kept for up to 12 months, solely to stop the same account from being reused on another Discord account. They're stored with no Discord ID, name or profile data next to them, and are only matched to your account when you verify again, so you can still verify on your own original account.
