🔔 Control what notifications you receive from Ostra

Several of Ostra's features can send you Direct Messages. You can now control your preferences for notifications on both a per-feature and per-server basis.

🔕 Deliver Quietly

This option allows you to continue receiving notifications, but the messages will be delivered as "@silent messages".

This means you'll still receive Direct Messages for notifications you care about, without receiving push notifications.

This option is helpful for those looking to reserve push notifications for more important types of notifications.

🚫 Block

You can opt-out of specific types of notifications entirely, or block notifications from specific servers.

You have the freedom to get the space you need without having to sacrifice your ability to receive notifications from Ostra you still want to see.

👥 Per-Server Options

In addition to global defaults, notification preferences can be set per-server.

This framework allows for you to declare defaults that work for you, with the flexibility to make changes per-server based on what's comfortable.

❓ How do I configure my notification preferences?

You can use the new /notifications command in any server or your DMs with Ostra to access your preferences.

You can also specify a server ID if you're not able to run the command in the server you want to manage your preferences for.

Additionally, all Ostra features that send you DMs now include a button to manage your notifications for the server they were sent from.
