Running a server means asking your members things. What to play next, who is coming on Friday, whether the new rules are actually working. Subo asks them inside Discord, one question at a time, as a chat instead of a form. From this month, you can hand that whole job to an AI assistant instead of doing it yourself.
MCP is the open standard AI apps use to connect to outside tools, so if your assistant supports it, it can work in your community directly.
You connect Subo via the MCP to virtually any agent. Our team is already using it with Meta Muse, Grok Bot and Claude Code, but if you have another favorite agent, give it a try too. It will probably work too!
Tell your assistant what you want to know, in your own words: "ask the raid team what times work next month, with one open question at the end". It writes the questions, checks them against Subo's rules, and shows you what it made. Forty-three operations are available to it, which is nearly everything Subo can do: create and edit projects, launch and close them, clone a ready-made template, read the answers, run the AI summary of open-text replies, hand out XP and roles.
Tell your agent to write drafts. When it's ready test it yourself in Discord or in the Subo dashboard. Make the changes you want. When ready, go live. Every operation is labeled, and the ones that reach real people or delete something are marked as such, so a good assistant asks you first. In our own production test, we asked it to tidy up old projects, and it paused on its own to check before deleting one that was still open.
The connection uses an API key you create, it works in one community only, and it acts with exactly the permissions you have right now. It cannot create keys for itself or change who has access to your server, and you can revoke it whenever you like.
Create a Bot or agent key on your Account page and the connection settings come with it, ready to paste.
Everything else works as before: Convos in your members' DMs, polls, quizzes, XP, roles and the template library, with or without an assistant.
