AI Show Bot is a Discord bot that turns your ideas into fully voiced, AI-generated SpongeBob parody episodes.

Give the bot a topic and it will write an original conversation, generate the characters' voices, add SpongeBob-style background music and transitions, mix everything together, and send the finished episode straight back into Discord as an MP3.

No complicated setup is needed.

Run /show, enter a topic, and the bot does the rest.

🎬 Generate AI SpongeBob Episodes

The main command is:

/show

Tell the bot what you want the episode to be about and it will generate an original SpongeBob conversation around your idea.

For example:

SpongeBob finally gets his driver's licence

Patrick becomes manager of the Krusty Krab

Plankton accidentally buys the Chum Bucket on Temu

Squidward starts a YouTube channel

The bot generates the episode dynamically, meaning the same prompt can produce a completely different conversation the next time you use it.

Creates an episode title

Keeps characters reacting to each other

Produces short spoken lines suitable for voice generation

Avoids simply producing disconnected character quotes

Formats everything for the voice pipeline

Keeps the episode within the bot's supported character roster

Episodes can contain multiple speakers and support up to approximately 25 voice lines.

⚡ Generation Progress

AI Show Bot doesn't leave you staring at a blank Discord message while an episode is being created.

The bot can show progress such as:

Once generation is complete, the progress message becomes the finished episode.

AI Show Bot also has a permanent SpongeBob AI song library.

Use:

and the bot can pick a random approved AI Sponge song from the collection.

The song library is separate from normal /show episode generation, meaning songs can remain available even as the generation system continues to evolve.

The library is designed so more songs can be added over time.

🎤 Song Suggestions

For a limited time, users may also be able to submit ideas for new AI Sponge songs.

Using /suggest, you can provide:

The original song as an MP3

The SpongeBob character you want to perform it

Character choices are limited to voices that actually exist in AI Show Bot.

Suggestions are sent for review rather than being generated automatically.

Approved songs may later become part of the /song library.

This submission feature may be removed in the future, while /song itself will remain.

Creating an episode involves considerably more than sending one request to an AI model.

AI Show Bot uses a queued generation system so these tasks can happen reliably without forcing Discord to wait on one enormous request.

AI services occasionally time out, return invalid responses or temporarily become unavailable.

AI Show Bot includes handling for many of those situations, including:

Temporary problems are retried automatically where possible.

🐛 Report Generation Errors

If an episode eventually fails, users don't have to hunt down the bot owner or explain what happened manually.

Failed generations can include a:

Pressing it sends relevant diagnostic information to the bot's review system so the issue can be investigated.

Reports can include information such as:

Generation/job ID

Which stage failed

Selected show

Error category

Retry count

Relevant technical error information

Sensitive API credentials and secrets are not included in user-submitted reports.

Reporting is optional — nothing is submitted unless the user chooses to send it.

🔒 Public & Private Features

The public version of AI Show Bot is focused specifically on SpongeBob SquarePants.

Public servers use the SpongeBob generation system, SpongeBob character voices and SpongeBob song library.

Additional experimental shows and development/admin features may exist privately for testing and development, but they are not part of the normal public bot experience.

Keeping the public bot focused on SpongeBob also makes it easier to improve the quality of one generation system rather than spreading development across lots of unfinished modes.
