🪝 Your first cast

Type /fish, wait for a bite, and decide: keep the fish for your tank and journal, sell it for coins, or Sell & Cast Again in one click. A session is a few quick casts, and walking away is fine. Anything you haven't decided on sells itself.

Your first cast is done for you, and a Rare fish is guaranteed within your first three catches. New anglers also get faster bites and starter quests that pay out as you learn.

🐟 Fill your journal

Over 700 species, and no two catches alike. Every fish rolls a size, colours, one of 16 patterns and up to 43 traits: golden, frosted by the Arctic, lightning-struck in a storm, glowing after an aurora. The water you fish in marks what you catch.

Seven rarities, from Common to Unique. Every fish above is rendered by the bot exactly as it appears in Discord.

• Collect: track discoveries by location with /collection. Selling a fish doesn't erase its discovery.
• Breed: pair compatible fish with /breed and try for something new.
• Trade: swap fish and gear with /trade, or send a gift with /give.
• Look it up: /fishinfo or the fish encyclopedia.

🗺️ 44 places to fish

Start at an Appalachian stream and work your way out: Lake Michigan, the Mississippi, the Galápagos reefs, Icelandic hot springs, Svalbard ice, the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald and the Mariana Trench. Each place has its own fish, its own art and its own collection. Plan a trip with /locations and use /travel when you're ready to move on.

Every spot has weather that changes every couple of hours, the same for everyone. Drizzle saves your bait, fog turns up chests, storms and heatwaves bring bigger fish, and rare auroras make fish glow. Check /weather before you pick a spot.

🏕️ Build a camp, hatch a pet

Your /camp makes bait while you're away, shows off your best fish in a display tank, and hatches eggs. Upgrade each building as you level. Set a /net before you go and come back to fish and chests.

Eggs turn up while you fish. Hatch them in the Incubator for a pet with its own bonuses. Some, like the Tiger, the Raven and the very rare Cthulhu, leave their mark on the fish you catch. Shiny pets double their bonuses.

🏰 Fish with friends

Start or join a guild for a shared camp, a weekly mission, a guild chest and a Guild Aquarium your members fill with their best fish, with its own page on the website. Guilds can even build a Weather Machine and summon a storm for everyone.

Your server has things to do together too:

• Server quests: weekly fishing goals sized to your server's active anglers.
• Monster fish: team up when one appears and reel it in together.
• Tournaments: admins can run a quick biggest-catch or most-fish contest with /tournament.
• The Wishing Well: everyone tosses coins into one monthly /well. Fill it and every angler in every server gets a 24-hour Blessing.

🏆 Meet at the Contest Pier

A weekly contest where gear and level change nothing: seven waters, ten standard casts a day, winners every week. The best anglers land on the leaderboard and the Hall of Champions.

📖 Your angler licence

/profile is your angler licence: your title, your best catch, your stamps and a background you choose. Collect titles and achievements to fill it out.
