⛩️ TASEWAKAI is an international community where Japanese language, culture, gaming, creativity, and friendship come together.

But we're not trying to be another server where you join, read a few channels, and disappear.

We want TASEWAKAI to feel alive.

A place where you can learn your first Japanese sentence, accidentally spend three hours talking in VC, discover something about Japan you never knew, find someone to play with, participate in a ridiculous event, share something you created — and meet people you genuinely remember.

Whether you're learning あいうえお for the first time or already holding conversations in Japanese, there is always somewhere to begin.

No level requirement. No need to be perfect. Just curiosity and a willingness to communicate.

✦ Learn through real communication ✦ Connect with people around the world ✦ Explore Japan beyond the textbook ✦ Play together through games and events ✦ Create and share what you love ✦ Belong to something you help shape

Language isn't something that truly lives inside a textbook.

It lives in conversations.

In the first joke you understand without translating it. In the mistake everyone laughs about with you. In the moment you realize you just held an entire conversation without thinking about grammar. In the friendships that wouldn't exist if you had never decided to speak.

That's the idea behind TASEWAKAI.

We believe the strongest communities aren't built only by administrators.

They're built by the people who show up.

The person answering someone's first Japanese question. The stranger joining a VC. The member organizing a game. The artist sharing their work. The learner finally brave enough to write their first sentence.

Every conversation adds something.

Every person changes the community a little.

And that's why our philosophy is built around five things:

🌸 Communication — Speak, listen, ask and share.

🌸 Curiosity — Never be afraid of not knowing something.

🌸 Respect — Different cultures, experiences and perspectives deserve understanding.

🌸 Creativity — Communities become memorable when people create together.

🌸 Connection — Languages introduce us to people we otherwise may never have met.

Our goal isn't simply to build a place where people study Japanese.

Our goal is to build somewhere Japanese becomes part of the experiences people share.

A place you don't visit because you have to study.

A place you return to because you want to be there.

୨୧┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈୨୧

Learn Japanese. 　　　　Explore Culture. 　　　　Meet People. 　　　　Play Together. 　　　　Create Something. 　　　　Make Memories.

そして、一緒に進もう。 　　　　　And let's move forward together.
