Slappy bot

Slappy Support

Welcome to the official support server for Slappy — the Discord bot that turns videos, GIFs, and images into Discord-ready server branding media.

What Slappy does • Create custom stickers from video, GIF, PNG, or JPEG • Make server icons and server banners that fit Discord size limits • Create user banners without leaving Discord • Compress and resize media so it meets Discord rules — no browser tools required

What this server is for • Help with slash commands and permissions • Bug reports and failed conversions • Feedback and feature ideas • Status updates when the bot or queue is under load • Community tips for clean stickers, icons, and banners

Quick start

1. Invite Slappy to your server with the right permissions (Create Expressions / Manage Expressions; Manage Server for icon and banner commands).
2. Run /sticker create with a short video, GIF, or image attached.
3. Wait for processing. A successful sticker create installs into your server sticker tray (not only a file in chat).
4. Try /server_icon, /server_banner, or /user_banner the same way.

Before you ask for help • Attach the media you used (or a similar sample) • Paste the full bot error or reply • Note the command you ran (/sticker create, /server_icon, etc.) • Say whether the bot replied, queued, or stayed silent

Please keep the server clean • Be respectful • No spam, scams, or NSFW content outside allowed channels • Do not share tokens, .env files, or private invite secrets • Use the right channel for support vs. general chat

Good to know • Conversion can take a short time under load (queue + processing). A “processing” wait is normal. • Free use may include daily quotas or cooldowns. Limit messages are expected, not a bug. • You need permission to manage expressions (and Manage Server for some branding commands) for install/apply to work.
