Welcome to Black Meridian, a growing international community built around an upcoming story-driven tactical CQB FPS being developed in Godot.

You do not need to be a developer to join. In fact, we specifically want more normal community members who enjoy gaming, tactical campaigns, FPS games, horror, military stories, memes, random conversations, voice chats, or simply watching a game slowly evolve from development builds into a finished release.

💬 Just Want to Hang Out? That is completely fine. Join general conversations, discuss games, share screenshots and clips, talk about movies/music, use entertainment bots, participate in polls or just lurk and follow progress. Nobody is going to interrogate you about GDScript upon entry. 😑

🏅 Community Leveling Our server includes message-based leveling, allowing active community members to earn recognition and roles simply by participating naturally in the server.

Black Meridian is currently a HOBBY / UNPAID project. We welcome people interested in contributing to the actual game, particularly those working with or willing to work within a Godot-compatible workflow.

Current and relevant development areas include:

Godot / GDScript programmers Gameplay programmers Python developers JavaScript developers HTML / CSS developers 3D Blender artists Character / weapon animators Environment artists Level designers UI / launcher development Game systems and tools

Beginners with genuine skills and a willingness to learn are also welcome. Previous work, GitHub repositories, Blender renders, animations, levels or portfolios are useful but not mandatory for every role.
