Welcome to the chronicle of history. From the mysterious monuments of Ancient Egypt and the gods, pharaohs, pyramids, and great cities of the Nile, to the philosophy, democracy, mythology, art, and legendary city-states of Ancient Greece — every civilization has a story worth discovering.

Journey through the rise and fall of Rome, Persia, Greece, Egypt, the Mongol Empire, the Ottoman world, and the great civilizations of South Asia, alongside countless kingdoms and cultures that shaped human history. Explore legendary rulers, generals, philosophers, scholars, explorers, reformers, and ordinary people whose lives became part of something much larger than themselves.

And then come the events that transformed the modern world. Explore the causes, battles, political struggles, turning points, and consequences of World War I and World War II — from the alliances and rivalries that ignited the first global conflict to the rise of fascism, the Holocaust, the major fronts and campaigns of World War II, and the political transformation of the world that followed. Understand not only what happened, but why it happened and how its consequences continue to shape the present.

But history isn't only about empires and famous figures.

It is also about culture, religion, architecture, literature, science, economics, languages, traditions, art, technology, warfare, diplomacy, and society** — the countless threads that together create the story of humanity.

Our discussions can range from the Bronze Age and ancient civilizations to medieval kingdoms, colonialism, revolutions, nationalism, the World Wars, the Cold War, and the modern world. Dive into obscure historical facts, forgotten kingdoms, historical mysteries, primary sources, maps, documentaries, books, historical films, and debates about how we understand the past.

We also leave room for the history of Bengal and the wider region of Bangladesh, connecting local stories with the broader history of South Asia and the world.

Whether you're deeply knowledgeable about history or simply someone who enjoys discovering something new, you're welcome here.

Discuss. Debate. Discover. Remember.

The past may be gone, but its stories remain — waiting to be explored.

History is not merely what happened. It is the story of how we became who we are.
