مانهاك — Manhak

Manhak is an Arabic-first Android app built to make reading manga, manhwa, and webtoons feel faster, cleaner, and more natural for Arabic readers.

The app is designed around an RTL-first experience instead of treating Arabic as an afterthought. Readers can discover titles, search the catalog, browse detailed manga pages, continue where they left off, organize their library, track reading progress, and read chapters through a streamlined interface designed specifically for long-form manga and webtoon reading.

Manhak also introduces a Community Partnership system that brings real Arabic communities directly into the app. Our first Founding Community Partner is The Aiven's, with its own Community Pass, dedicated community hub, curated Aivens Picks, and exclusive Aivens Night and Light themes.

Behind the scenes, Manhak uses a modern Android stack including Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Material 3, MVI, Room, Koin, Coil, WorkManager, OkHttp, Jsoup, and Appwrite. The project is built with offline-friendly caching, structured catalog synchronization, reading continuity, and a scalable architecture designed to support future communities and features.

The goal of Manhak is bigger than simply creating another manga reader. We want to build a modern Arabic reading platform shaped together with its users and communities — where discovering, reading, organizing, and discussing manga and manhwa all feel like part of one connected experience.
