Slotted

A friendly corner of Discord for artists who take commissions.

Running commissions is a whole job on top of making the art: setting prices, writing TOS, chasing payments, juggling DMs, keeping track of who's next. This server is a place to talk about all of it with other artists who get it.

What you can do here

• Post your open commissions in #commissions-open
• Not sure what to charge? Get honest price checks from other artists
• Swap tips on TOS, slots, waitlists and getting paid, or ask for help opening commissions for the first time
• Share your art and works in progress
• Trade client stories, the good, the bad and the horror
• Get a first look at Slotted, a tool we're building to make commissions easier, with screenshots and videos of the real site
• Tell us what would actually help you. Artist feedback decides what gets built next, and you can get early access to the beta

Everyone who takes commissions is welcome: digital, traditional, character art, pets, portraits, music, writing. First-timers and full-time artists alike. No AI art.

What we promise: your art stays yours. Slotted never sells or licenses your work, and it's never used for AI training.

Come say hi and tell us how you run your commissions!
