Water

The game launcher that does the work for you.

Water is a game launcher and BitTorrent client for Windows 10 and 11. Pick a game and press Install. Water downloads it, installs it without showing you a single installer window and sets it up. Then Play starts it. It handles console games too, from PlayStation to Switch: Water downloads and configures the emulator, and your controller just works.

This server is Water's home on Discord, run by the team that makes it.

What's here

• #download: the official installer, always the newest version.
• #announcements: what changed in each update. Pick the Updates role to get pinged.
• #help: stuck on something? Post it and the team answers.
• #report-a-game: a game that won't install or start, or one Water doesn't list yet.
• #suggestions: ideas for Water.
• #faq: answers to the questions people ask most.
• #get-a-license: buy a license in a private ticket with the team.

What Water does

• Silent installs. There are no wizards to click through and no files to copy, and the game is set to the right language.
• 14 consoles. Water downloads, checks and configures each emulator for you: fullscreen, saves per profile and a sharp picture.
• Controllers out of the box. DualShock 4, DualSense and Xbox controllers work in every emulator. A second controller is player two.
• Profiles, play time and achievements. Each person on the PC gets a profile, and achievements pop up as you unlock them.
• Your first install is free, and you keep that game.

The short rules

Be kind and keep it about Water. Water hosts no games, and neither does this server, so don't post download links, torrents or invites to other servers. Get Water only from #download. The team never DMs you first.
