Low's Translator

Read any Discord message in your language. Right-click → Apps → Translate and only you see the result. It works in any server, DM or group chat, even where the bot isn't added, in 119 languages.

Translate any message

• Right-click translate: text, images (screenshots, memes) and voice messages, shown only to you
• Explain: unpacks slang, idioms and tone, not just the words
• Flag reactions: react with a flag to translate a message for everyone, or set your own emoji for a private copy
• Reply translations by DM: opt in and replies to your messages arrive in your DMs, in your language
• /translate for anything you type or paste, and Show original on any translation

Translate your whole server

• Channel auto-translate: every message is reposted in your server's language under the author's name, with nothing for members to click
• Linked channels (/link): link channels in different languages (up to 4 per group on Free, 16 on Max) and each message appears in all of them, translated, as its author. Reactions, GIFs and links carry across, and one-way bridges work too
• Mirrored categories (/mirror): copy a whole category into another language, channel names and all
• Role translations: give a role a language and its members are translated in every channel (Pro)
• Edits stay in sync: edit a message and every translation of it updates
• /setup gets you running in a minute, and access control, a server glossary, a default server language and /serverstats keep it in hand

Voice, conversations and more

• Live voice captions (/transcribe): voice chat subtitled in a thread, speaker by speaker, translated (Max)
• Speak: /speak turns text into natural audio, and /voice reads it aloud in a voice channel (Max)
• Duo (/duo): two people, two languages, one private thread, with a transcript for you both at the end
• Follow a channel (/follow): get any channel translated for you privately, without needing admin
• Documents (/translate-file): Word, PowerPoint, Excel and subtitles, returned with the formatting kept
• Polls (/poll) everyone reads in their language, and catch-up summaries of busy channels (/catchup, Max)
• Your style: a personal glossary, formality control (paid plans) and AI tone presets (/style, Max)

It never runs out

Other bots stop when your allowance does. When your monthly characters run out, translation keeps going on Ember, our own engine: free, with no cap. Ember covers about 40 of the most-used languages.

Five engines power the rest: DeepL, Azure, OpenAI, Gemini and Gemma, with automatic fallback if one can't serve a message.
