Pokémon Champions | VGC Battles & Tournaments

Find your next VGC opponent, get a second opinion on your team and prepare for your next tournament.

Pokémon Champions is a competitive Pokémon Discord centred on doubles battles, team building and organised events. Join players worldwide to practise, exchange ideas and follow the VGC championship circuit—from your first competitive team to your next best-of-three set.

▸ VGC Battles & Practice Arrange ranked practice, BO1 games and BO3 sets, including open team sheet play. Find opponents on Pokémon Champions or Pokémon Showdown, test new leads and work on the matchups giving you trouble.

Tell people your format and what you want to practise, then get into a battle.

▸ Team Building & Matchup Help Bring a complete team, a Poképaste or an idea you’re still developing. Discuss Pokémon choices, moves, stat spreads, items, abilities and how the team fits together.

Get feedback from experienced players on speed control, damage calculations, leads and difficult matchups. Understand the reasoning behind a suggestion so you can decide what to test.

▸ Replay Review Share a replay and look beyond the final result. Discuss team preview, positioning, switching, targeting and the decisions that shaped the game.

Ask about a specific turn, compare possible plays and take something useful into your next set.

▸ Tournaments & Draft Leagues Take part in community tournaments and prepare with other competitors. Follow announcements for formats, registration, team-sheet requirements, schedules and results.

Interested in draft? Explore league resources, plan your picks and prepare for your scheduled opponents.

▸ VGC Resources & Discussion Find beginner guidance, share sample teams and discuss the current regulation. Talk through emerging strategies, tournament results and how the metagame affects your own team.

▸ Mobile Play & Support Ask the community about playing on Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android. Discuss mobile setup, device compatibility, connection problems and cross-platform play.

▸ A Community Beyond the Match Meet players worldwide in global chat, find Pokémon trading partners and take part in community giveaways.

VGC remains the focus. New players are welcome to ask questions, and experienced competitors can contribute advice, discuss strategy and find practice partners.

Bring your team, share your question and find your next battle.
