Mining Empire! centers on building a gold-mining operation. Place a Miner to produce Gold, then place Storage to hold what has been mined. The illustrated scene shows a worker operating a large drill against a rocky wall, with bright green and yellow ore scattered across the ground and a visible production-rate display.

Gold can be sold when its price is favorable, making timing part of the operation. Players can also sabotage other players while competing to climb the leaderboards and claim the #1 position.
