PokéChat

PokeChat rebuilds Gen 1 as a text game inside your server. Every message sent has a chance to spawn a wild encounter, so the thing that earns rewards is the thing people are already doing - talking. A few newer touches are in there too, shiny odds among them.

Every message carries a chance to spawn an encounter - 1%, 2.5% or 5%, configurable at your staff's discretion. They vanish after 20 seconds, so act fast.

Encounters and battles play out in direct messages, so keep your DMs open. The channel stays clear for the conversation already happening in it, instead of filling up with bot messages.

Most commands - the shop, your profile - come back ephemeral. Nobody else sees them, so nothing you do clutters the channel.
