The difference
One message, from countdown to result.
Courier posts before a release, then edits that same message once the figure is published. The warning, the release and the outcome stay one thing you can scroll back to, instead of three separate posts.
Warn when you want. An hour ahead, fifteen minutes, five, at the release itself, or any of five presets. The first warning posts the message; every later one edits it.
Clusters arrive as one post. A heavy 08:30 carries three or four prints at once. Releases scheduled for the same minute are grouped into a single message with a row each, and each row fills in as its number arrives.
Every time in the reader's own timezone. Scheduled times are Discord timestamps, so the countdown keeps running on each client and nobody converts anything. Zero configuration.
Actual against forecast, with the size of the miss. Not just beat or missed — how far off it came, beside the previous print and a sparkline of the last six.

One command, then buttons
/courier opens a private briefing: who is trading right now, what is due next, and the latest headlines, with buttons through to the calendar and the news.
Per-viewer timezones
Every scheduled time is a Discord timestamp, so a reader in Auckland and one in Chicago each see their own clock and a countdown that keeps ticking after the message is posted.
Beat or miss, with the margin
A figure 0.1 above forecast and one 0.8 above are different events, so the card names the verdict and prints the distance, coloured green or red.
Honest blanks
Only releases with a confirmed data series ever fill in automatically. Where no free figure exists the card links to the source rather than printing a lookalike number.
Staleness is said out loud
If a source stops answering, an empty calendar looks exactly like a quiet week. Courier watches both of its feeds and puts a warning on the embed instead of letting it pass as normal.
Permissions checked first
Setup tests View Channel, Send Messages and Embed Links in the channel you picked before it accepts it, so alerts cannot fail silently at 08:30.

The data is public information published by government agencies and central banks, so the calendar is never going behind a paywall. The paid tier is about automation and breadth, not access — and it is not on sale yet. Today every server has all of it.
