AltShield is the ultimate free Discord verification and anti-alt bot. You choose the checks: optional sign-in with external platforms (Google, Steam, Twitch, Roblox, Battle.net, Epic Games), alt account detection, anti-VPN, device matching and region lock, all combined by fully customizable rules. Roles are handed out automatically. The full rule engine is free, with every check unlimited.

How it works
From join to role in seconds
New members get a private thread with a personal link, and the same link lands in their DMs. They sign in with the official logins you require, AltShield evaluates your rules and the right role is applied the moment the decision is made.
Rule engine
Build rules, not checklists
- Nest groups as deep as you like. AND, OR, NOT and AT LEAST N OF, not just a flat checklist.
- Real examples: Discord account older than 7 days AND Steam older than a year AND owns CS2, or at least 2 of 3 platforms.
- Ready presets to start fast, then tune every number in the dashboard.
Anti-Alt
Alts get caught, real members get in
- Linked identities. A Google, Steam, Twitch, Roblox, Battle.net or Epic Games account is tied to the first Discord account that used it.
- Works across servers. An alt caught on one server is recognised on the others.
- You pick the response: block, flag, send to manual review with Approve and Deny buttons, kick or ban.
- Device and network matching catches people who swap accounts on the same device.
- Alt map shows linked accounts as a graph
Anti-VPN
VPNs stop at the door
- VPN, proxy, Tor and hosting IPs are stopped before any rule is checked.
- One check at verification time. Nothing about the lookup is kept afterwards.
- Privacy first. No raw IP addresses or device fingerprints are stored.
Requirements
Google, Steam, Twitch and more
- Discord: minimum account age, read automatically.
- Google: account connected, optionally with a verified email on the account (no email is sent, and the address is never stored).
- Steam: account age, owned games, playtime per game or total, level, VAC, community and trade bans.
- Twitch: account age, follows, subscriber and channel ban status for your own channel.
- Roblox: account age, ban status, friend count, verified badge.
- Battle.net: minimum World of Warcraft character level.
- Epic Games: account connected
- CAPTCHA: optional anti-bot gate before submit.
Region Lock
Keep out regions you do not serve
- Allow only selected regions or block selected regions, by country or whole continent.
- Interactive globe in the dashboard. Drag to rotate, click a country, see green for allowed and red for blocked.
- Block or review. Rejected visitors can be stopped outright or held for a moderator.
- The visitor's country is used for the check only and is never stored.
Anti-Raid
A wave of joins does not get through
- Spots a raid on its own. AltShield learns your server's normal number of joins and reacts when a wave is far above it, or at a number you set yourself.
- Temporarily stricter. Newcomers need an older Discord account, a CAPTCHA and optionally an extra connected account, and the verification page tells them why.
- You stay in control. Alerts with End, Extend and "this is normal" buttons, or
/antiraid on,off,extend. One master switch turns it off completely. - Free for every server.
Privacy
Built to know less about your members
- Official platform logins only. AltShield never sees or asks for a password.
- No raw IP addresses or device fingerprints stored.
