Moddy is an AI moderator for Discord. Write your rules the way you would explain them to a human mod, like “no advertising other servers” or “no spoilers for the new season”. Moddy reads every message in context and deletes or times out anything that breaks them. No regex, no keyword lists, no bypasses.
👆 Enjoying Moddy? Vote with the button at the top of this page. It takes 5 seconds and keeps Moddy free.
Which permissions does Moddy need?
View Channels, Read Message History, Send Messages, Manage Messages (to delete) and Timeout Members (to time out). Put Moddy’s role above the members it should time out.
Does Moddy store or train on our messages?
No. Moddy only uses AI providers that don’t train on or store your messages. Moddy keeps counts for your statistics, not message content.
Can staff or trusted members be skipped?
Yes. Administrators are skipped by default, and you can exclude roles and channels per rule or for the whole server.
What if Moddy gets it wrong?
Moddy only acts when it’s at least 75% confident (adjustable per rule). Use the built-in tester to check a rule against example messages before going live.
