Heroes Re-Revival

One hundred and seventy years ago.

The year was 2030 and the world had made a huge breakthrough. The ability to scan souls. Two scientists. One from Japan and one from the US had realized that the flow of the souls they observed were flowing in the direction of a large island in the middle of the two. Feeling as if they just made a breakthrough, they gathered other scientists and eventually crafted their own country. This country was named Kali.

2040-2050 - Kali soon became a place to store criminals. A way to provide subjects for the scientists and more holding facilities for both Japan and America. As the years went on, these test subjects were beginning to Mutate. Soon enough, the scientists would too as they began to develop superpowers. It was hypothesized that Kali was able to alter souls, awakening traits never seen before in humans. To continue research, the scientists conducted multiple tests to further study this phenomenon

2060 - Ten years after these events, it was 2060. There was a violent outburst from one of these superpowered individuals that triggered a chemical reaction, causing an explosion. This explosion caused Kali's energy to erupt from the country and spreading throughout the world. Superpowers suddenly became more prevalent and soon enough, society would change entirely.

Unfortunately, as powers are introduced, many used these powers for evil. The usual defenders of the people were no more than vigilantes. Seeing vigilantes grow in popularity, but not in the most legal of ways, the UN came together and created the Global Government Hero Association.

Pretty soon, heroes gained popularity. Hero schools and agencies started to pop up everywhere as individuals tried their best to become heroes.

Now, in 2200, Heroes have taken society by storm. This doesn't mean that villains have slacked off however. Organized crime is also rising as more people realize the problems they might have no matter how selfish.
